I looked everywhere online and looked at all the laptops there. My budget was $ 1200. The Qosmio has recently been reduced to $ 999, and when it happened, I decided to jump on it. I bought the SquareTrade warranty of 3 years and with the tax, the total was about $ 1230. For this price, you will not find a laptop with a 3 year warranty that the material before the Qosmio. I got mine on Tuesday, August 24, was promised delivery date. I paid an extra $ 2 and was sending two days and was very pleased with the speedy delivery. I'm a gamer and I bought the Qosmio with intent to use it for gaming so far, I loaded Crysis and Starcraft 2 on it. Crysis is a very good performance, not spectacular, but very good. All parameters are running high and constant at a minimum of 25 fps in Crysis that is gentle enough for a solid game. Starcraft 2, I completed all the settings on Ultra, and my frame rate is holding at least 40. Very solid game machine it is. My biggest complaint so far is the surface is very blurred. Any part of the laptop to play and leave a fingerprint and waste. But that is easily erased. The laptop looks pretty good, touch-sensitive media control can easily be disabled, the speakers sound creation, and I really like the large 18.4 "screen. The camera is very, very clear and pleasant. All the team seems a little on the fragile side, the portion of the screen is very easy to fold, so take extra precautions when moving or carrying your laptop. Many great connectivity, HDMI 4 USB, touch screen fun . So far this laptop is definitely worth $ 999. I am very, very happy with my purchase. I recommend this notebook to anyone looking for a nice laptop, ideal for use in games. The lower end model Q885 even manages the Intel Core i5, and is responsible for 2 games of first level for me so far with outstanding performance. So far so great.
